This month Year 7 finished their class novel - Running Wild by Michael Morpurgo. Running Wild is about a boy called Will who takes a ride on an elephant called Oona in Malaysia when he's on holiday with his mum, but the elephant gets scared away and runs into the jungle with Will on her back. We read the book and followed his journey through the jungle. Everyone completed their AR test and this enabled a lot of pupils to get their next certificate and are now ready to move up to the next level for the summer term. We have also added photos of the 3 top word readers from yaer class, who have managed to read a WHOPPING 2,980,737 words between them. Well done everyone.
