Highlights of Year 2:  Welcome to Year 2.  This is a year for your child that is full of exciting new things to experience and learn! Some of theses experiences include: a trip to the farm in October, dressing up as pirates for a treasure hunt and exploring the local community. We also enjoy meeting lots of people who come to visit the Year 2 classrooms throughout the year!

Throughout the year we will continue to develop our reading and writing skills through the Jolly Phonics programme. We will learn to count further than we have ever counted before and find out about 3D shapes, telling the time and lots more!
