Y4MB Visit to the War Memorial Museum

19th Oct 2017

We dressed as evacuees and visited the War Memorial Museum, in Belfast. We found out about what Belfast and Northern Ireland were like during WW2. We discussed why war broke out, the leaders of the countries and which countries where involved. We talked about rationing, air raids, the ARP, the Belfast Blitz and evacuation. In the museum we completed a quiz using the information around us and dressed up as nurses, pilots, wardens and soldiers from WW2. Have a look at our photos and guess what our jobs would have been during the war!
