Tropical Rainforest Comes to Life!

28th Oct 2016

Year 7 had a very interesting and enjoyable  morning with Brian from 'Talking Reptiles'. Brian brought a selection of rainforest animals for the children to see and he told them about where they came from and how they were adapted to their habitat.

Katelynn - My favourite animal was the Asian Water Dragon because it was a beautiful colour. Its tail is very sharp and jaggy and it uses it to whip its prey.

Cole - I loved the way we got to touch the snake and I loved hearing about the giant slugs.

Tyler - We had a great morning and my favourite animal was the Chilean Rose Tarantula because I like spiders but I have never seen one that big before.

Amy - I thought it was very interesting. He told us lots of interesting things about the animals and we got to see them very closely.
