Connected with our New Year, New You programme, the right of the month for January is Article 24. Every child has the right to the best health possible.
At Whitehouse we have a healthy break/lunch policy, and encourage pupils to make good choices with regards to food. We also encourage them to look after their physical health by getting as much exercise as possible.
This year during 'New Year, New You' week, we will be focussing on mental health. Pupils will take part in workshops with Action Mental Health or with Julie, our school counsellor. There will also be an event for parents to help you better understand how to look after the mental health of your children.
