P.E.

P.E. is a very important part of our curriculum.  This is for a number of key reasons:

  • It is a statutory requirement that pupils are provided with quality physical activities and learning;
  • It is important for pupils' health and growth;
  • It is crucial in forming future lifestyle habits and promoting good health;
  • It is lots of fun and children really enjoy it!

The school's P.E.scheme provides a progression of skills and experiences across the following key strands:

  • Educational Gymnastics;
  • Games;
  • Athletics;
  • Dance.

This provision is enriched with quality extra-curricular clubs and activities:

  • Football;
  • Netball;
  • Hockey.
