What is Creativity?  There is no curricular area in the Northern Ireland Curriculum called Creativity.  Rather, creativity is a skill that goes across the whole curriculum.

In Whitehouse Primary School, however, we use the Creativity subject title to be a collective term for art & design and music.  We also include physical education as part of the Creativity area.  Aspects of dance and areas of sport, for example, involve high levels of creativity.

The Creativity Team Leader in our school is Mrs McClurg.

She does not, however, take responsibility for all the areas of Creativity. Art & Design Leader:  Mrs McClurg Music Leader: Miss Hasson P.E. Leader: Mr Harris

What are some of the indicators in our work that demonstrates our commitment to Creativity?
We have an excellent Creativity Team;

We have invested time and resources updating Art & Design, P.E. and Music planning across the school.
