As a school we are totally committed to getting our pupils 'hooked' on books.  Therefore, when building our new library we were inspired by the amazing Roald Dahl.  The library has images of his books brought to life around the walls, artefacts from his stories and a timeline of his writing.

Now pupils from 2pm to 3.15pm can visit our fabulous library to borrow books every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  Parents can also enter through the side door of the KS1 playground.

The books are levelled using our Accelerated Reading system.  This means pupils can self-select books knowing that the books are the right level and yet also fitting their preferences and interests.

The library is also equipped with our new computerised library software that allows pupils to check out and in their own books.  Teachers can also check their pupils reading records in and out of school.

We are very excited by our library and we would encourage all our families to visit the library regularly.
