Year 7 would like to say a big thank you to Miss McIntosh and Mr Bailie for organising the activities for New Year New You 2017. We learned lots of new facts and had great fun getting active.
We started the week with our daily mile and mini olympics. On Tuesday we took part in the Inside Out workshop where we leaned lots about growing up, our bodies, friendships and making decisions. This was followed by a tasting session of exotic fruits which were supplied by Tesco.
On Thursday we travelled to Abbey College and took part in Art, Science, Home Economics, ICT, PE and life skills. Finally we came to school on Friday dressed as who we would like to be when we grow up and leave school. We had architects, programmers, soldiers, beauticians, teachers, pharmicists, musicians, sports coaches, vets and many other occupations.
Our program of activities finished with an E-Safety talk from the PSNI. This helped to reinforce the SMART rules that we have displayed in our classroom and school.
