P5 enjoyed a fantastic morning at Hazelbank with Newtownabbey Borough Council and Forage Ireland this week. Under the expertise of Dermot from Forage Ireland we were able to identify different trees according to their leaves and seeds. We walked through the orchard and collected some fruit before heading off to prepare some freshly squeezed apple juice of our own! (Using market bought apples though!!!) A fantastic morning had by all!
